Job summary

Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Project Manager to lead global oncology trials, coordinating across cross-functional teams from startup to closeout. The role emphasizes vendor oversight, timelines, risk management, and regulatory readiness, with extensive collaboration across Clinical Operations and biostatistics.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in global oncology project management, a strong understanding of ICH-GCP, and experience working in a multi-country environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of Clinical Project Management experience supporting global oncology trials.
• Experience across multiple countries and regions (NA, Europe, APAC, LATAM).
• Vendor management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to function within global, cross-functional matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Support and partner with Clinical Study Leads and cross-functional study teams on global oncology trials.
• Lead day-to-day study management across startup, conduct, maintenance and closeout.
• Manage study timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution.
• Oversee external vendors, CROs, labs, imaging and specialty providers.
• Coordinate CTT meetings and follow-up on actions.
• Support study planning, forecasting, and operational strategy execution.
• Monitor study performance metrics and interventions as needed.
• Ensure inspection readiness and regulatory sponsor compliance.
• Collaborate across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Monitoring, Regulatory Affairs, Safety, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Contribute to study status reporting and executive communications.
• Support milestones, enrollment targets, database locks, and closeout activities.
• Travel up to 25%.
