Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
• Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor license in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or with family sessions to help with dependencies and life adjustments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with SMART goals within 72 hours of intake and update every 4 weeks.
• Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including diagnostic records and progress notes within 48 hours after sessions.
• Collaborate with staff to perform clinical assessments and adjust care within 2 days of establishing care.
• Refer patients to community resources or specialists as needed.
