Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
• Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor license in West Virginia is required.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or in family sessions to help overcome dependencies, adjust to life, or make changes.
• Make internal referrals to IOP if little to no improvement occurs within 8 weeks of OP therapy.
• Guide clients in developing skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge, establishing SMART goals with the patient; plans updated every 4 weeks.
