Job summary

Nova Southwestern University is seeking an experienced IT support technician to provide timely technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff via phone, chat, email, remotely and at desk side.

Under limited supervision, you will install and maintain hardware, troubleshoot complex issues, and support laptops, desktops, wireless devices, servers, and AV equipment across campus locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required with IT work experience.
• Associates degree or 60 credits plus relevant IT experience accepted.
• Experience supporting hardware, software, and networks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains hardware for students, faculty, and staff.
• Performs advanced repairs and troubleshooting of technology issues.
• Supports installation and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and AV equipment.
• Provides support across campus locations and classrooms.
• Creates, logs, updates, and resolves technology tickets.
• Coordinates relocation and disposal of technology equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
