Job summary

Liberty Resources is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This role provides in‑office and remote support for Windows devices, Microsoft 365 apps, and collaboration tools, delivering courteous, security‑conscious service.

You will triage incidents, troubleshoot remotely with ScreenConnect, deploy devices using Intune/Autopilot, and guide users through Defender, KnowBe4 training, Webex Calling, and other productivity tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training; 2–3 years help desk/desktop support experience.
• Strong technical aptitude with methodical troubleshooting and documentation.
• Experience supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and common business apps.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, Lists, Planner, Loop and related tools.
• Experience with incident triage, ticketing, and Freshservice preferred.
• Knowledge of Intune and Autopilot; endpoint provisioning preferred.
• Understanding hybrid identity concepts (AD, Entra ID) preferred.
• Networking basics; TCP/IP, DNS, VPN; certifications preferred.
• Understanding of virtualization (VMware) and related concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely in‑office and remote front‑line support for Windows devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Triage, document, route, and resolve incidents in Freshservice; maintain clear notes.
• Use ScreenConnect for secure remote troubleshooting and user guidance.
• Configure and deploy devices for employees and new hires.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and related workflows (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Assist users with Defender prompts and security incidents; coordinate remediation.
• Support KnowBe4 security awareness activities and phishing simulation follow‑ups.
• Provide Webex Calling support and escalation where needed.
• Onboard/offboard identity and application access in hybrid environments (AD/Entra ID).
