Job summary

Dacus Towing and Recovery is seeking an On-Call Dispatcher to handle overnight and weekend calls remotely with in-person training at our McPherson, KS office. You will answer calls, quote pricing, dispatch drivers, and process payments, all while delivering professional, calm service to customers.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay composed during emergencies. This is a part-time, mostly remote position with a training component in Kansas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable home internet and a distraction-free workspace.
• Willing to work on-call nights and 1-2 weekends per month.
• Strong verbal communication and a calm demeanor in emergencies.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and dispatching.
• Must attend in-person training at McPherson KS office.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls for roadside assistance and towing services.
• Provide accurate pricing quotes and explain pricing details.
• Enter call information into dispatch software and assign drivers.
• Process payments over the phone using our payment system.
• Maintain professional, courteous interactions with customers.
