Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a dispatcher to serve as the first point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will maintain call logs, monitor routes via GPS, and direct tow truck drivers. The role requires handling high call volumes, documenting information, and coordinating with relevant departments.

You will provide pricing information, manage records and payments, and respond to customer inquiries. Shift work includes days, nights, and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple calls in a busy environment.
• Professional demeanor and phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Knowledge of Tow Book software is a plus.
• Able to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service excellence with each call.
• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document information.
• Coordinate with departments or field units to resolve issues.
• Operate a multi-line telephone console system.
• Direct tow truck drivers to locations and supervise routes by GPS.
• Prioritize and organize calls by urgency.
• Provide pricing information and respond to queries.
• Maintain records and process customer payments.
• Maintain records pertaining to work requests, charges, expenses, inventory, and other information.
• Other duties as assigned.
