Unknown Client is seeking an experienced industrial chemical sales professional to expand sales of intermediary and building block materials to oilfield chemical formulators. This home office-based role is ideally located in the greater Houston, TX area.

Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, promoting products, managing accounts, negotiating terms, and providing technical support while collaborating across departments to drive growth. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience selling chemical raw materials and intermediates to formulators in oilfield applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Technical mindset to demonstrate product performance and value.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oilfield chemicals market by developing relationships with key industry players.
• Promote products by supporting customer evaluations and testing.
• Manage all account activities to grow the business.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and supply agreements to maximize profitability.
• Create sales reports, forecasts and presentations.
• Meet territory sales targets and budgets.
• Provide technical support to customers and leverage company resources.
• Participate in industry organizations and trade shows to build relationships and learn trends.
• Collaborate with R&D, customer service, marketing, production and management.
