Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is seeking a detail‑oriented MV Title & Registration Clerk in St. Paul. You will review registration and title documents for statutory compliance, verify money amounts, and efficiently enter data into state systems.

Position requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers; telework eligibility is noted, though typical hours are day shift Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Data entry skills to receive and review source documents and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to explain the reasons for transactions, procedures, rules, and regulations so others understand.
• Ability to communicate with others via email and phone interactions with internal and external customers.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office to create, format and apply basic word and spreadsheet fundamentals.
• Math skills for basic calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Database management skills to enter and retrieve data.
