Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an OEM Application Engineer for Mechanical Systems to help integrate our oil-lubricated rotary screw airends and high-pressure compressors into customer equipment.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on mechanical aptitude with systems thinking, working closely with Sales Account Managers and customers in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Remote US-based role with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within engineering or manufacturing or the mechanical service industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering (Mechanical)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical documentation, drawings, and application advice during product development.
• Generate BOMs and part numbers for kits and components.
• Help drive new product ideas and maintain technical files for customer applications.
• Visit customer sites to support development activities and prototype testing.
• Deliver technical presentations to assist in selecting appropriate products for OEM applications.
• Support existing OEM customers and develop new ones across the US, Canada, and Latin America.
• Assist aftermarket with rebuild kits, airend parts, and compressor systems parts.
