Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an OEM Application Engineer for Mechanical Systems who will partner with customers to integrate our airends and system components into their equipment. The role focuses on solving real-world engineering challenges with a customer-facing, technical approach.

The position is remote for US-based candidates, with up to 10% travel to customer sites across North America. You will collaborate with Sales to select the right products and support growth across the OEM portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering, manufacturing or the mechanical service industry experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical documentation, drawings and application advice during evaluation and design of new products.
• Generate kit BOMs and create new part numbers for kits and components.
• Drive new product ideas and maintain technical files for customer applications.
• Engage on site with customers to support development activities and assist with prototype testing.
• Support Sales Account Manager with technical presentations and product selection for OEM applications.
• Support existing OEM customers while developing new customers in US, Canada and Latin America.
• Assist aftermarket with rebuild kits, airend parts and compressor system parts for OEM customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
