Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an OEM Applications Engineer for compressed air, hydraulic and mechanical systems. This remote role partners with OEMs across North America to integrate Ingersoll Rand products into equipment, providing guidance from concept to install.

The position reports to the Americas Leader for OEM Solutions and offers opportunities to work closely with Sales and customers on integrating product innovations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering, manufacturing, or the mechanical service experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with technical documentation, drawings, and advice during evaluation and design.
• Generate Kits BOMs and create new part numbers for kits and components.
• Drive new product ideas and maintain technical files for applications.
• Assist on-site with development activities, prototype testing, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical presentations to aid the Sales Account Manager in OEM applications.
• Support existing and new OEM customers across the US, Canada, and Latin America.
• Assist aftermarket with rebuild kits and airend parts selection.
• Other duties as assigned.
