Job summary

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled OBGYN Medical Coder for a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate will hold CPC certification and have experience coding or billing laboratory claims, with strong attention to accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include auditing daily E/M visits, extracting details from operative reports, providing coding education to providers, and researching/appealing denied claims. 3-5 years in OBGYN coding preferred.

Qualifications

• CPC certification is required.
• 3–5 years of OBGYN coding experience.
• Experience billing or coding laboratory claims.

Responsibilities

• Audit and code daily E&M visits with CPT/ICD-10 accuracy.
• Extract information from operative reports and documents.
• Provide coding and billing education/feedback to providers.
• Research, correct, resubmit and appeal denied claims.
• Stay informed on payer policies and procedures.
• Maintain a 90% coding accuracy rate.
