Job summary

The Coding Network is seeking an OBGYN coder to perform coding for a number of clients across the country. The coder will access client operation reports remotely via EMR and return coded cases.

Hours range from 15 to 40 per week, offering flexible part-time engagement for experienced professionals with OBGYN-specific coding expertise and active CPC/RHIA/RHIT certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, or RHIT) required.
• Legally reside in the United States and able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases from operation reports via remote access to client EMRs.
• Return coded cases to clients in a timely manner.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

· Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding

· Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)

· Live and work in the United States of America

· Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
