Sedgwick is hiring a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner for NY jurisdiction with hybrid scheduling near Syracuse, NY. You will analyze lost-time claims, determine benefits, and ensure adjudication aligns with client service standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification applicable to line of business encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Lost-Time Workers' Compensation claims and determine benefits due.
• Adjudicate claims within service standards and client requirements.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients; report to excess carrier.
