CCMSI is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a remote, NY-focused desk from New York claims. The role emphasizes proactive claims management with a structured workday and minimal travel, under NY laws.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of NY WC claims experience, active NY Adjuster license, and strong MS Office skills. This remote position reports to Wall Township, NJ and offers a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience adjusting New York Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Active New York Adjuster’s License required.
• In-depth knowledge of New York Workers’ Compensation law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle workers’ compensation claims from start to finish per NY laws and client guidelines.
• Manage a varied caseload across multiple accounts and industries.
• Set and recommend reserves within authority levels.
• Review and process payments, settlements, and medical/legal bills.
• Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and case managers to move claims forward.
• Prepare timely reports on claim status, reserves, and payments.
• Represent CCMSI at hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings (virtual).
