Georgetown University is seeking an Admissions Specialist within the Berkley School of Nursing (BSON) Student Affairs admissions team. The role focuses on recruiting prospective students, guiding them through admissions requirements, and supporting them through enrollment and matriculation.

Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Admissions, the specialist collaborates with faculty and departments, conducts webinars, and communicates program details, costs, financial aid, and career outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in admissions in a higher education setting.
Nursing or health education experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with admissions data management systems, including Slate and Salesforce CRM.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational abilities, precise attention to detail and strong closing and follow‑up skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and respond to ever‑changing environments.

Responsabilités

Facilitating all enrollment activities, from initial inquiry through final matriculation, for BSON students.
Assessing student need and presenting BSON benefits for personal, academic, and professional goals.
Liaising with collaborating departments and providing student service and support.
Following up with prospective students via phone, email, text, and in-person outreach through the admissions funnel.
Collecting applications, transcripts, and records.
