Georgetown University Berkley School of Nursing (BSON) seeks a full-time educator-track faculty member for BSN, ABSN and MS-EN programs. The successful candidate will teach across pathways, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in scholarly activity with a 80% teaching allocation.

The role requires a terminal degree, DC RN eligibility, and 3–5 years teaching experience, with a strong commitment to equity and anti-racism in graduate nursing education.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in nursing or related field (DNP, PhD, EdD).
• Unencumbered RN license in the District of Columbia.
• 3–5 years of undergraduate/graduate teaching experience.
• Curriculum development, evaluation, and outcomes experience.
• Experience with multiple teaching formats: in-person, hybrid, online.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Scholarly and service contributions aligned with educator track.
• Academic rank commensurate with education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Teach in area of expertise and participate in curriculum and course development.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications and grant writing.
• Serve on program, school, university and other committees.
• Provide didactic and clinical instruction across modalities.
• Teach clinical intensives on-campus and virtually.
• Participate in faculty governance and ongoing professional development.
• Advance health equity and address racism in program content.
