Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Flex Nurse Educator to support patient education remotely and in-field, ensuring continuity during staff absences and territory vacancies. The role emphasizes non-clinical, educational interactions and strong collaboration with District Managers.

Requires an active RN license, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Candidates should reside in the US and be prepared for hybrid work with home-based education and occasional in-person visits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; multi-state compact preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain California RN licensure if residing in Mountain or Pacific time zones.
• Must reside within the specific geography.
• At least 5 years clinical experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills; experience managing multiple territories.
• Proficient in virtual platforms, documentation, MS Office, and iPad technology.
• Private designated workspace at home required.
• Driving is required; valid driver’s license and driving record review prior to hire.
• Must reside in country where the job is posted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote patient education via telephonic, video, email, SMS, and secure messaging platforms.
• Nurse Educators do not provide medical advice but empower patients to manage their disease and improve treatment compliance.
• Provide in-person support and education during territory vacancies, including home visits at approved locations.
• Facilitate connections to program-approved resources and encourage dialogue with healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation; follow protocols and KPIs; ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with District Managers and Field Leadership; participate in training and mentorship.
• Coordinate patient access to program-approved, patient-based resources.
• Provide educational training on disease states and prescribed medications.
• Educate patients to adhere to treatment regimens as directed by their HCP.
• Foster dialogue between patients and health care providers; support treatment journeys.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to program guidelines; ensure non-clinical educational interactions.
• Uphold territory-specific targets and regulatory standards.
