Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to join our Virtual Health Assessment team in a part-time capacity. You will provide high-quality care in a virtual setting, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to manage care for Oscar Health Insurance members.

The role supports a remote work arrangement with a schedule that includes 4x5 and 2x10 shifts, and requires licensing in at least two Oscar States.

Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP or PA from an accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC).
• 3+ years of outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
• 2+ years of delivering virtual care.
• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice, consulting with Physicians.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed-loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Utilize tools for virtual exams including remote home monitoring equipment and remote examinations.
• Collaborate with multiple care team members including RNs, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and a clinical supervisor where applicable.
• Participate in required meetings to support patient care, such as huddles and case conferences.
• Provide feedback to improve operational workflows and product features.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
