Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join the Virtual Health Assessment team in a remote role. This 20-hour/week position supports Oscar Health Insurance members through virtual evaluations and management visits, with potential cross-training to Virtual Urgent Care.

The role reports to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment and requires licensed, board-certified NPs/PAs with outpatient and virtual care experience. Eligible states include NV and others listed.

Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from an accredited program.
• Board certification (NCCPA/AANP/ANCC) is required.
• Minimum 3 years in outpatient Family/Internal/Primary care.
• Minimum 2 years delivering virtual care.
• Licensed in at least 2 Oscar States, including FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting
• Use prescriptive authority with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, with complex patients
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
• Use tooling to allow virtual exams including remote home monitoring equipment
• Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members
• Attend required meetings to support patient care including huddles and case conferencing
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
