Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to develop and drive strong sales partnerships with distributors and end users in the North-East markets, focusing on the NJ/NY metro area and New England. You will report to the Area Sales Manager and manage end-user accounts with a hands-on approach when needed.

Key duties include establishing and maintaining customer relationships, applying value selling to uncover opportunities, creating pull-through sales and marketing campaigns for key

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven sales success in industrial/manufacturing or OEM markets.
• Experience using value-based selling to drive sales and customer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships in the assigned territory to generate new business and exceed sales goals.
• Leverage value selling to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Develop pull-through sales and marketing campaigns for key distributors.
• Maintain product knowledge to present the full line and applications.
• Develop an end-user funnel to drive large-scale conversions to Apex Tool Group brands.
• Identify opportunities for sales process improvements based on territory feedback.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, operations, and customer service to drive metrics.
