Optify Search, a leading executive search specialist, seeks an Account Manager – Northeast to drive sales and build relationships across Vermont to Delaware for the personal care and cosmetics market. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of sales experience within personal care ingredients, cosmetics, specialty chemicals, or related markets.
• Established relationships with personal care brands, contract manufacturers, formulators, and industry stakeholders throughout the Northeast region.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40-60% throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities throughout the Northeast territory.
• Provide technical support and formulation guidance to personal care and cosmetic customers.
• Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales and growth objectives.
• Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within the territory.
• Manage project pipelines, forecasts, CRM activity, and opportunity tracking.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, Regulatory, Marketing, and supplier partners.
• Support strategic accounts and drive long-term customer growth initiatives.
• Attend customer meetings, supplier trainings, industry conferences, and trade shows.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and territory updates to leadership.
