Job summary

Our client, a respected supplier of functional ingredients for nutritional supplements, sports drinks, protein bars, dry mixes, and nutraceuticals, seeks a Northeast USA sales professional. Work from a home office and travel to meet customers, expos, and trade shows.

The candidate must be a hunter with energy and industry contacts in NY/NJ, selling value-added ingredients like acids, minerals, Omega-3s, enzymes, probiotics, and more. A technical science background is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; industry experience is acceptable.
• Must have current calling on dietary supplement and nutraceutical manufacturers in NY/NJ.
• Technical background in chemistry/biology is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business at new accounts in the NE USA.
• Manage sales from a home office with travel to customers and expos.
• Build relationships with manufacturers, co-packers, blenders, and private label firms.
