Scion Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Nonprofit Project Coordinator for a mission-driven organization focused on equity, health equity, and community impact. The role is fully remote and primarily supports programs related to health, inclusion, and evaluation across multiple social impact projects.

The position is a 6–9 month assignment with potential for future opportunities. Candidates in eligible states can work remotely, with hours typically aligning to Central Time.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with public health or social services and an interest in supporting mission-driven work focused on equity, inclusion, and community impact.
• Experience coordinating projects, programs, partners, participants, or stakeholders in nonprofit or social impact settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a warm customer service approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project tasks, deadlines, outreach, participant information, contacts, decisions, and follow-up across tracking systems.
• Conduct online research to identify organizations, partners, funders, audiences, contacts, resources, webinars, and other information relevant to project goals.
• Take notes and synthesize information into concise, actionable summaries while supporting outreach communications, social media content, participant updates, and customer service inquiries.
• Coordinate ongoing engagement with project participants, partners, networks, and learning communities while proactively identifying outstanding tasks and needed follow-up.
• Coordinate virtual meetings and events, including scheduling, registration, attendance tracking, surveys, participant materials, and testing of virtual event tools.
• Serve as a technical host for virtual programs by managing Zoom functions, supporting presenters, monitoring participant needs, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
