Job summary

Planet Women, fiscally sponsored by Mission Edge, is seeking a Development Coordinator to support our fundraising team in a part-time, remote role. You will manage donor records, assist with events, and help prepare proposals and social media content.

This position is virtual, based in the U.S. East Coast with a high preference for Washington, DC area; 15-20 hours per week for 6-8 months with possible extension if funding allows.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or administrative roles is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant life/work experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency with donor databases and fundraising tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Donor Management: record donations, maintain CRM data, and generate acknowledgement letters.
• Event & Campaign Coordination: plan logistics for fundraising events (in-person and online).
• Communications: assist with proposals, reports, and social media material.
• Administrative Support: organize meetings, track action items, and maintain digital files.
