Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Network Operations Center Technical Services Supervisor to lead a 24x7 NOC team delivering advanced technical support across network and systems. Remote work option available with EST hours, supervising engineers and technicians.

The role requires a strong background in network design (LAN/WAN/cloud/data center), ITIL practices, and customer-focused incident management, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in IT including leadership and network operations.
• Experience designing and implementing complex LAN, WAN, cloud, and data center networks.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain Public Trust; experience in ITIL-based service management or NOC environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise NOC staff, ensuring 24x7 operations and adherence to processes and service levels.
• Provide advanced technical support and act as escalation point for complex incidents.
• Oversee troubleshooting of computer systems, software applications, and networked/wireless systems.
• Monitor network and system performance; prioritize incidents and coordinate response to minimize downtime.
• Report recurring issues and participate in root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
• Support customer installations and training for highly technical systems as needed.
• Interact with customers/users and product support to resolve complex problems and maintain professional communication.
• Implement and administer policies and standards; propose improvements for service quality.
• Track work assignments and staffing coverage for all shifts.
• Prepare and present operational metrics and incident trends to senior management.
