Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Junior Developer to join its teams developing Air Force and Navy next-generation mission planning software on an Agile/SAFe team. This position can be performed 100% remote within Eastern Standard or Central Standard time zones.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, and Interim Secret Clearance on day one, plus experience with Java or C#/ASP.NET Core and web technologies such as React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, HTML5, and CSS.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to customer-related requirements.
• Interim Secret Clearance required on day one.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience with Java or C#/ASP.NET Core and/or Web app tech: React, Jest, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, NPM, HTML5, CSS.
• Ability to work with a geographically distributed team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development as part of a SAFe multi-team enterprise.
• Take ownership of and responsibility for software products.
• Gain domain knowledge and guide software and test engineers.
• Represent the team in meetings with technical analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to improve software.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior software engineers.
• Collaborate with other teams, customers, and users to meet requirements.
