DS2 in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Mission Planning Department to design, develop, deploy, and demonstrate feature-rich applications and R&D projects.

The role focuses on the Next-Generation Open Mission Planning System for the DoW, requires a strong foundation in C#, Java, JavaScript or Typescript, and experience with web frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Angular. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field with 15 years of experience.
• Experience developing mission planning applications for the DoW.
• Proficient in C#, Java, JavaScript or Typescript.
• Experience with web frameworks: React, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, ASP.NET or Angular.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and demonstrate feature-rich applications and R&D projects.
• Work on the Next-Generation Open Mission Planning System for the DoW.
• Translate long-term project visions into detailed features and feasible software designs.
• Develop the architectural runway for large solutions.
• Learn and apply emerging technologies to keep the team equipped.
