Job summary

DCS Corporation in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support the Aerospace Technology Development team. You will contribute to autonomy and control systems across software, interfaces, and performance evaluation for air platforms.

Eligible candidates will have a BS in CS/CE or related field with programming experience, familiarity with automated testing and containerized deployments, and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with programming experience.
• Two years of related experience or master’s degree with 1 year of experience; co-op/internship experience applicable.
• Familiarity with automated testing, test results analysis, containerized deployments, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Familiarity with AGILE software development processes.
• Understanding software architecture design.
• Experience working with Git.

Responsibilities

• Work with containerized autonomy services and design software test fixtures.
• Develop interface control documents and test plans; document results for stakeholders.
• Execute integration tests and report results for government/contractor teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain test documentation.
• Some travel may be required.
