Job summary

DCS Corporation in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support autonomy and control systems for air platforms. You will work on containerized services, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and interface documentation with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE (or related) and experience with Java, C/C++, Linux, and version control. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required. On-site with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with programming experience.
• Two years of related experience or a master’s degree with 1 year of experience; co‑op or internship applicable.
• Familiarity with automated testing, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• AGILE software development processes.
• Understanding software architecture design.
• Experience with source control systems (Git).
• Good organizational skills and team environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with containerized autonomy services.
• Design software test fixtures.
• Develop interface control documents.
• Apply industry best practices for software test.
• Develop and execute integration test plans and test cases.
• Document test results for government and contractor stakeholders.
• Some travel may be required.
