Job summary

Stie Yai is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support/Newsroom Associate to handle press release formatting, order processing, and client communications. You will verify orders, resolve issues, and coordinate with sales and Web Support to ensure timely distribution.

The role offers an overnight shift (Mon-Fri 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM EST) with a remote work option and comprehensive benefits, including health coverage and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and project completion under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and good judgment.
• Basic technical skills with MS Word, Excel and web applications.
• Reliability demonstrated by attendance and punctuality.
• Courteous and professional phone manner.

Responsibilities

• Format, edit, and proofread press releases quickly and accurately.
• Code releases based on client distribution requests and suggest alternatives.
• Contact clients to resolve issues such as errors or missing information.
• Assess authenticity of press release orders and escalate problematic content.
• Monitor incoming orders and ensure timely handling.
• Ensure successful transmission of content online.
• Assist other Newsroom teams with overflow orders.
• Perform shift opening, closing, and change duties.
• Maintain knowledge of Business Wire products, services, procedures, and policies.
• Handle incoming calls, answer client questions, and guide clients through order submission.
• Provide membership information and set up new accounts when appropriate.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments as needed.
• Report technical issues to Service Desk or Web Support promptly.
• Authorize credit card payments when necessary.
• Run and submit daily distribution reports to billing department.
• Maintain a daily activity log
