Job summary

Midco is seeking a Network Technician to design, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot our network infrastructure. You will work with the NOC, engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable services. The role spans Technician I–III levels, with increasing responsibility and expertise.

Locations span KS, MN, ND, SD, and WI footprints; candidates must be willing to relocate within footprint. Work is remote with potential on-site requirements in labs or offices as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; DUI disqualifies for past 5 years.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in IT/CS/Networking and relevant certifications (CCNA, Network+, JNCIA).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI, SNMP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching.
• Experience with telecom/network environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement network changes and software updates following MOPs.
• Monitor systems, alarms, and tickets to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and outages.
• Install, test, and maintain network equipment and circuits.
• Collaborate with NOC and engineering teams on projects.
