Chimes is seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator for a remote role within the United States. You will install, configure, secure, and monitor networked computer systems and core infrastructure for Chimes.

This position requires 3+ years administering networked systems, along with experience in backups, patches, monitoring, and security practices. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with certifications also valued, and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Three (3) or more years administering networked computer systems, servers, infrastructure services, or related platforms.
• Experience with account administration, patching, monitoring, backup and recovery, configuration management, and technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain servers, operating systems, network services, storage, virtualization, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor availability, capacity, performance, backups, logs, alerts, and security status; investigate and resolve exceptions.
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and system access, and apply patches, updates, and security settings.
• Coordinate upgrades, migrations, deployments, and decommissioning with cybersecurity, network, application, database, cloud, vendor, and customer teams.
• Maintain system inventories, diagrams, configurations, and change docs; automate routine tasks when approved.
