Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia, Inc is seeking a Computer Network Architect for a remote position in the United States. You will design, evaluate, and improve secure network solutions to support capacity, performance, and availability for Chimes and its customers.

You must be legally authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not provided. Responsibilities include designing architectures, evaluating hardware and software requirements, monitoring performance, and maintaining security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering preferred.
• Relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate network architectures meeting performance, capacity, security, reliability, interoperability, and cost requirements.
• Identify hardware, software, interface, bandwidth, and routing needs; prototype and validate configurations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and scale resources to changing demand.
• Develop and maintain network security measures, audits, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, installations, and testing; create designs and procedures.
