Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst for a remote role within the United States. You will translate business and technical needs into secure system requirements and collaborate with business owners, IT, cybersecurity, and operations to ensure feasible solutions.

You will document requirements, design workflows, and support testing, release readiness, and training while maintaining lifecycle documentation and adherence to privacy and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in systems analysis, business analysis, requirements management, or related work.
• Experience documenting requirements, workflows, test plans, defects, and decisions.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration throughout system development lifecycles.
• Experience with data analysis, cloud, or low-code platforms preferred.
• Experience in government, regulated, or security-conscious environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyze current processes, data flows, interfaces, and pain points; propose improvements.
• Translate requirements into system specs, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
• Coordinate with developers, admins, cybersecurity, vendors, and operations to resolve questions.
• Plan and support testing, release readiness, training, and transition; document results and actions.
• Maintain lifecycle docs, reports, and ensure change-control and information-security practices.
