Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Computer and Information Systems Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate IT operations in a remote role within the USA. You must be legally authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not offered.

The position leads technical staff, defines priorities, manages budgets and vendors, and oversees security, continuity, and help systems to support organizational resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive IT experience including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Experience managing technical operations, staff, budgets, vendors, security, continuity or improvement initiatives.
• Experience in government, regulated, or security-conscious environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily IT operations by setting priorities, workflows, standards and deadlines.
• Lead, assign and review the work of technical staff; recruit, train and supervise as appropriate.
• Coordinate projects by aligning resources, tracking progress and resolving issues with leaders, users, vendors and technical teams.
• Assess organizational needs and technology proposals; recommend improvements incl. hardware and software upgrades.
• Establish IT policies; oversee data security, backup, disaster recovery and user help systems.
• Manage budgets, purchasing and vendor relationships; report performance, risks and recommendations to leadership.
