Lumen is building AI-ready connectivity across cloud, edge, and AI workloads. The Operations Technician II role supports PSCC customers with advanced network troubleshooting and maintenance, collaborating with NOC teams to ensure reliability and performance.

The position requires the ability to work a 24/7 schedule, including evenings and weekends, and to reside in the United States. A strong technical background and relevant experience are essential for success in this demanding role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education is required.
• Minimum 3+ years related experience in network operations or similar.
• May require technical certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports Network Operations Center and Repair activities for PSCC customers.
• Resolves complex network problems involving network hardware, fiber, colo space and power.
• Uses software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network, hardware, and software problems for PSCC customers; conducts complex network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Provides high quality communication to customers via Ticket System, Phone, Email, and IM/Chat. Manage time efficiently and document all actions in the ticket system.
