Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Network Operations Engineer I for on-site Denver to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize our datacenter network infrastructure. You will manage rack/spine switches, configurations, and incident responses within a dynamic NOC environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in datacenter or NOC roles, strong vendor coordination skills, and a disciplined approach to documentation and asset tracking. This role is on-site in Denver with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Weeks of experience in Datacenter Operations and/or NOC roles (1+ years).
• Strong troubleshooting for rack/spine switches and rack configurations.
• Familiar with network hardware and protocols.
• Experience processing technical documentation and RMA requests.
• Proven ability to work with vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Celestica and Nvidia.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot datacenter network infrastructure (rack/spine switches).
• Perform rack configuration tasks and ensure network performance and reliability.
• Respond to incidents and outages with rapid diagnosis in a NOC setting.
• Process network diagrams, configs, and procedures; update docs.
• Handle RMA requests and coordinate with vendors for replacements/repairs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on datacenter operations and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, incidents, and vendor communications.
