Job summary

GW RhythmX in the United States is seeking a Network Engineer to implement and maintain our network infrastructure. The role supports on-prem, cloud, and hybrid networks, including VPNs, switches, routers, firewalls, and some Linux systems.

You will work on projects to grow and improve our systems, develop documentation, and apply automation and open source tools. Strong scripting skills (Ansible, Bash, Python) and AWS experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, routing protocols, IPsec VPN, and NAT.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (AWS).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language or configuration tool (Ansible, BASH, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of wireless network design and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot on-premises, cloud, and hybrid networks.
• Drive process improvements leveraging automation and open source technologies.
• Maintain cloud network components within an AWS environment.
• Utilize automation tools to monitor, maintain, lower TCO and meet defined KPI’s.
• Develop reusable solutions applicable to common network problems.
• Ensure network hardware and software are maintained and updated with preventative maintenance.
• Monitor and analyze the network environment to identify and resolve problems.
