Job summary

GC2IT is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to modernize and scale network architecture for a mission-critical global platform spanning remote sites, centralized hubs, and AWS cloud environments. The role blends networking fundamentals, cloud networking, automation, and telemetry-driven operations.

The position requires strong AWS networking design experience, IaC with Terraform, and a track record of delivering reliable, highly available networks in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in network engineering or cloud networking.
• Extensive AWS networking production experience.
• Terraform or similar IaC experience.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure, VPN/IPsec, and security segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid network architectures across field sites, central hubs, and AWS.
• Build and modernize VPC-based networks using AWS services.
• Integrate physical firewalls and VPN-connected sites with cloud networking and security appliances.
