Job summary

Get Well is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage on-premises, cloud, and hybrid networks. The role includes TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall tasks, with opportunities to automate using Ansible, Python, and Bash.

You will support both local Bethesda operations and remote sites, ensuring security and optimal performance. Candidates should have strong networking knowledge, AWS experience, and the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, routing protocols, IPsec VPN, NAT.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS) and hybrid/on-prem networks.
• Scripting ability (Ansible, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot on-premises, cloud, and hybrid networks.
• Drive process improvements using automation and open source technologies.
• Maintain cloud network components within AWS.
• Use automation tools to monitor, maintain, and reduce TCO.
• Develop reusable solutions for common network problems.
• Ensure network hardware/software are maintained and updated.
• Monitor network environment to identify and resolve problems.
• Ensure accurate documentation and secure, interoperable tech.
