Job summary

GW RhythmX is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our on-premises and cloud networks, including VPNs, switches, routers, and firewalls. You will work with Linux systems and automation tools to support day-to-day network operations and project work.

Based in Bethesda, MD, with remote flexibility, you will collaborate with security teams to protect PHI and ensure reliable, scalable connectivity for health system clients across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, IPsec VPN, and NAT.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS).
• Ability to script or use configuration tools (Ansible, BASH, Python).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot on-premises, cloud, and hybrid networks.
• Drive process improvements leveraging automation and open source technologies.
• Maintain cloud network components in AWS environment.
• Utilize automation tools to monitor and lower TCO and meet KPIs.
• Develop reusable networking solutions for multiple contexts.
• Ensure networks are secured and compliant with policy.
