Job summary

Systematix is seeking an experienced .NET Developer for a major digital modernization initiative with a public-sector client in Canada. This remote, full-time role supports Agile teams using .NET, cloud, and DevOps technologies to deliver citizen-facing digital services.

You will translate user stories into technical designs, build secure APIs, and maintain containerized apps deployed to OpenShift or comparable platforms, while upholding accessibility and security standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in .NET Developer roles and modern application delivery.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and related .NET frameworks.
• Ability to design secure, scalable, maintainable client-facing apps.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, integrations, and shared components.
• Experience with containerized development and OpenShift deployments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable .NET applications, services, APIs, and components.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Develop citizen-facing and administrative digital services using modern .NET tech.
• Build and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain containerized apps and deploy to OpenShift or similar platforms.
• Work in DevOps, CI/CD, Git, SDLC, and Agile environments.
• Participate in planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure secure coding, logging, monitoring, accessibility, and privacy standards.
