Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Systems Developer (Remote) to design, develop, and maintain information system applications and operations in support of core functions.

You will collaborate with the IS team to implement efficient solutions, ensure reliability, and advance technology across the organization. The role requires strong C++, C#, .NET, MS SQL, PowerBuilder, and API design skills in an agile, home-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of C++, C#, NET programming and MS SQL knowledge.
• PowerBuilder developer with 5+ years using PowerBuilder 10.5+ to design and support enterprise apps.
• Experience with Sybase and MS SQL databases.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• 3+ years in a database environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, and modify computer programs for end-users and testing.
• Write Windows-based applications that interact with databases and services.
• Develop and maintain data interfaces to clients and vendors.
• Triage and schedule programming requests ensuring compatibility with current systems.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and designers to test new software programs.
• Provide ongoing maintenance of information systems and plan changes.
• Train end-users and IS staff for data loads, interfaces, and database maintenance.
