Job summary

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to drive design, development, and modernization of a high-availability enterprise application in AWS GovCloud. This hands-on role requires strong coding skills, technical ownership, and collaboration with leads, operations, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will lead architectural decisions, deliver secure, scalable microservices, and optimize data access with PostgreSQL while leveraging Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher), and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level C# and .NET Core development skills.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience in AWS GovCloud and containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes.
• PostgreSQL experience with performance tuning.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS for messaging.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve a large-scale production application.
• Own codebase and guide engineering standards with the tech lead.
• Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Operate cloud-native apps in AWS GovCloud and ensure high availability.
• Design scalable, resilient services processing millions of messages monthly.
• Support event-driven processing with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS.
• Work with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS and optimize data access.
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes via Rancher for deployments.
• Integrate ML capabilities and review AI-generated code for quality and security.
• Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and uphold secure coding practices.
