Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of pharmacist experience, a related bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and a Tennessee pharmacist license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of pharmacist experience in clinical or hospital settings.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• TN Pharmacist License is required; vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders for medications using pharmacy information systems.
• Enter/validate medication orders in client facility pharmacy information system.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, patients and healthcare providers.
• Review orders entered by pharmacy technicians/clerks for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training and competencies.
