Job summary

Cardinal Health, MMS Solutions division is seeking a pharmacist for a 100% remote role to support prescription processing for a Cardinal-owned specialty pharmacy. The position involves entry, verification, and processing of orders related to renal disease, with flexible hours Monday–Friday CST shifts.

Responsibilities include order entry, compliance with regulatory standards, patient and provider communication, and staff training.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• TN Pharmacist license required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders for medications using the pharmacy information system.
• Enter/validate medication orders via emulation capabilities.
• Prioritize orders based on queue time and status (e.g. STAT).
• Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and Remote Pharmacy Services policies.
• Communicate with colleagues, patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide drug information and clarifications as needed.
• Obtain and maintain state licensure within required timeframe.
• Assist with training of new team members and staff.
• Review orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
