Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Development Manager to expand the Ryder footprint in the marketplace by turning qualified leads over to Field Sales and managing national accounts.

This remote role emphasizes lead nurturing, consultation with prospects, and coordinating with Ryder's sales team to drive revenue. Ideal candidates bring multi-year B2B sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex relationships and quotas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of successful sales experience in B2B.
• Three or more years of Inside Sales experience (preferred).
• Five or more years of selling in a B2B environment.

Responsibilities

• Nurtures leads and assesses when a lead merits one-on-one attention.
• Performs one-on-one nurturing using BANT criteria to assign a sales resource.
• Schedules meetings between the qualified lead and a Ryder Sales Representative.
• Educates prospects about Ryder's value proposition and services.
• Maintains high call volume to pass qualified leads and generate revenue.
