Placements24 is seeking a highly organized National Transport Logistics Coordinator to join its fully remote team. You will plan, execute, and monitor nationwide freight movements, negotiate with carriers, and optimize routes to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.

In this remote-first role, you will collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, analyze logistics data, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements to our national transportation operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 3+ years in logistics coordination, with national transport focus.
• Experience managing freight carriers and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of domestic transport modes (road, rail, air).
• Proficient in logistics software and tracking systems.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate nationwide transportation with carriers and modes.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements for cost efficiency.
• Track and trace shipments in real time; provide stakeholder updates.
• Monitor carrier performance for on-time delivery and quality.
• Identify and resolve logistical disruptions proactively.
• Optimize routes to improve efficiency and cut costs.
• Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment at distribution points.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Analyze logistics data to identify improvements and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and required documentation.
